APPLICATION FOR FIBREGLASS, VINYL, PLYWOOD, & ALUMINUM (DO NOT USE THIS METHOD FOR EPDM):
Using a brush, apply a coat of Superior RV to all seams, depressions and around all objects protruding through roof (vents, skylights, pipes, etc.), and any areas that cannot be accessed with roller. Allow to dry at least 3 hours. Pour Superior RV directly onto the roof surface and spread out with a long nap roller. Remember that Superior RV is a coating, not a paint, so it must be applied liberally in order to form a protective membrane. Wait at least 24 hours before applying a second coat. Note: If you are unable to complete the second coat because of time constraints or inclement weather, it is not a problem. The second coat can be applied at any time within the next week, provided that the roof remains clean.

HOW TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH SUPERIOR RV LIQUID RUBBER ROOFING YOU WILL NEED:
Measure the length of your roof and the width of your roof.
Multiply these two numbers together to find out the surface area of your roof.
Divide this number by 42.
This number is an estimate of how many gallons of Superior RV Liquid Rubber Roofing you will need.
Please note: This calculation does not take into account push-outs or areas of your roof that do not require coating. Read below for detailed instructions for amounts of specific roof surfaces.

Caution: Apply this product in a well ventilated area. Extinguish all sources of ignition. Uncured product is a flammable liquid. Keep product at room temperature for ease of application.



PREPARATION FOR ALL SURFACES EXCEPT PLYWOOD:
Using dish detergent and warm water, scrub or power-wash roof and remove as much surface dirt as possible. Remove all silicone (nothing adheres to silicone), loose caulking and poorly adhering coatings. Flush with clean water and allow to dry completely.

APPLICATION FOR EPDM AND TPO RUBBER ROOF MEMBRANE:
Using a brush, apply a light coat of Superior RV to fill all seams, depressions and around all objects protruding through roof (vents, skylights, pipes, etc.), and any areas that cannot be accessed with roller. If your roof membrane has rounded or bullnosed edges, apply a light coat using a brush to the vertical portion and the rounded edge of the bullnose, all around your roof edge. Allow to dry three hours. Apply ONE THIN COAT to entire roof surface using a short nap roller and allow to dry 48 hours. CAUTION: DO NOT APPLY A HEAVY FIRST COAT ON EPDM OR THE RUBBER MAY DISTORT AND WRINKLE. DO NOT APPLY MORE THAN 1 GALLON PER 100 SQ FT ON THE FIRST COAT. (Example: An EPDM roof that is 25 feet long and 8 feet wide is approx. 200 sq ft., so you would not apply more than 2 gallons on the first coat). After at least 48 hours, apply finish coat using long nap roller. If you are unable to complete the second coat because of inclement weather or time constraints, it is not a problem. A second coat can be applied at any time within the next week, provided that the roof remains clean and is free of moisture.

Superior RV Liquid Rubber Roof Coating is a one-part coating based on new styrenic, thermoplastic, block copolymer technology.
It provides permanent, waterproof RV roof restoration with outstanding adhesion to TPO, EPDM, fiberglass, plywood, vinyl, and aluminum.
Surface preparation involves cleaning with warm water and Tide laundry detergent, removing all loose coatings and caulking, and ensuring the removal of dirt, oily residues, wax, and surface treatment products.
The product should not be applied directly to Alpha Brand EPDM roof membranes or to pre-existing coatings without applying Superior Flexible Epoxy Primer first.

Superior RV is actually a roof replacement, because it forms a new, seamless membrane sheet on top of your old one. The new surface is almost indestructible and totally resistant to uv rays, water, ice, hail, and abrasion. The product is tougher than most original rubber membranes. 15 Year Product Guarantee. APPLICATION: - EPDM and TPO rubber roof membrane: Using a brush, apply a light coat of Superior RV to fill all seams, depressions and around all objects protruding through roof (vents, skylights, pipes, etc.), and any areas that cannot be accessed with roller. If your roof has rounded edges, apply a light coat using a brush to the vertical portion and the rounded edge, all around your roof perimeter. Allow to dry three hours. Do not pour this coating on an epdm roof. Work from a paint tray as follows: Apply ONE THIN COAT to entire roof surface using a ¼” fleece roller and spread out the coating as thin as you can by pressing firmly, so it just covers the surface. Allow to dry at least 48 hours. After at least 48 hours, apply finish coat using a roller with a ½” to ¾” fleece.
