Journeyperson Automotive Technician (Automotive Mechanic)
Grande Prairie, AB | Full-Time | In-Person
Salary: Top wages based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am- 5pm, full-time, consistent hours
Job Summary:
We are currently hiring an Automotive Technician / Automotive Mechanic to join our busy and well-established automotive repair shop in Grande Prairie, Alberta. This is a full-time, permanent position with steady work, competitive wages, and a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, repair, and service passenger vehicles, light trucks and Diesels
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
• Accurately troubleshoot engine, electrical, brake, suspension, and drivetrain systems
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment efficiently
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members
Qualifications
• Journeyperson Automotive Technician Preferred
• Minimum 2 years automotive mechanic experience
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional
