Mira River Forescast as of late: 100% chance of Are We Sure It's June?!?! 🥶🌬🌊

Between the biting wind and the shivering temperatures, on top of the rain (and or snow), we’re pretty sure Cape Breton skipped spring and went straight back to November.

But Mira boaters? We’re a different breed. Despite the weather playing hard to get, the river is slowly waking up! A few more brave souls have joined Out on the Mira over the past two weeks, refusing to let a little frostbite ruin a good time.

It's about the halfway mark of the lobster season already! 🦞

It was a long winter.....but Salty Fella is officially on river time!!! 🐾

It wouldn’t be a birthday celebration without some involvement from James planning something aquatic or nautical for the day. That first quick run on the river made it all worth it 🌊☀️

Mind you, the best present was Jamie Boutilier actually answering his phone lol Thanks to him, I avoided the headache of trying to park beside the dock instead of on top of it, when James pulled the pin 😂

Shout-out to Scott Currie as well for topping us up and always being there when needed. Top-tier service, every single time!
