Recent diagnostic job. Customer complaint of intermittent check engine light on his diesel pickup truck. Scanned for codes, it had a code for def pump circuit. After reading the troubleshooting information I decided to check the pumps resistance with a graphing meter, resistance was out of the specififed range and it would spike as I tapped on it. It needs a new pump, to avoid the client from potentially coming back after replacing the pump, I checked all the wiring related to the pump. It all checked out. Ordered and installed a new oem pump and the engine light hasnt come back on.

Recent repair I did. Called out for a highway tractor that had multiple engine lights and a derate condition(power reduced due to emmisions fault codes). Travelled to unit, found codes for def pressure low, upon some testing I found the pump to be spinning over 2x as fast as normal plus the pressure to be less then half of normal. I then found the pump to be physically damaged. I then replaced the pump with a new unit and verified the repair as seen in these photos. Client was very happy, had minimal downtime, did not need to be towed and was properly repaired without changing non needed parts.

We are excited to announce we are a now Drive On Inspection Station to perform safety inspections on vehicles.

Safety inspections will only be done by appointment and will not be available as an emergency service during the middle of the night.
Please note we will not be doing safetys on vehicles with the following:
-Heavy Rust
-Suspension modifications such as lift kits or lowering kits
-Emmisions systems deleted or modified in ways that do not meet oem specifications.

We are NOT the place to bring your vehicle if your looking for a safety that does NOT meet ministry standards.

If your looking for a properly done and honest safety inspection we are a good choice for you.

We are waiting to receive our inspection equipment from the people who adminster the drive on program. Once this is received we will make a post.
