Looks like we’ll be heading to Bud’s Speedway Sunday! 🏁 With the weather moving things around again, it doesn’t look like we’ll make R&R this year. Disappointing to miss a trip we always look forward to, but we’re ready to go racing!

Ricky’s #4 is ready to hit the track in his memory, with the #42 and #1 also ready for action in the Ricky Dixon & Darrell McDonald memorial V6 race.

We’re also working on a four-cylinder car for the 75-lap Mini Madness race, so stay tuned for that!

Due to forecasted rain on Friday, we are shifting our event dates to Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th! Racing will kick off at 1:00 PM each day.

Our team is adjusting all the details to make sure you have an incredible weekend at Bud’s Speedway.

Well, the weather threw a wrench into our season-ending plans! 🏁

With Bud’s Caper Memorial moving to October 23–24, it now falls on the same weekend as R&R’s Halloween Spooktacular in Miramichi—a trip we’ve made the last three years.

Assuming the V6 race stays Friday, we’ll be at Bud’s for Ricky’s memorial. Then we’ve got a tough decision: stay for Saturday at Bud’s, or load up Friday night and head to R&R?

Ricky loved those Miramichi trips with us too, so there are memories pulling us both ways. We haven’t raced R&R yet this year, and we’d love to keep that tradition going.

Nothing decided yet. Might be one busy final weekend for Strang Road Racing! 😂

5TH ANNUAL CAPER MEMORIAL: IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE

Due to the anticipated weather forecast for this coming weekend, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 5th Annual Caper Memorial originally scheduled for October 16th and 17th.

We know how much time, expense, and travel preparation goes into this weekend for our drivers, crews, and dedicated fans coming from out of town, and we want to ensure everyone gets the full, uninterrupted race weekend they deserve under safe track conditions.

NEW EVENT DATES: Friday, October 23rd & Saturday, October 24th

We truly appreciate your understanding, patience, and unwavering support as we adjust to mother nature. Let’s bring the heat next weekend on Grand Lake Road!

5TH ANNUAL CAPER MEMORIAL: WEATHER UPDATE

With the Caper Memorial scheduled for October 16th and 17th at Bud's Speedway, we're closely monitoring the forecast for this weekend. We know how many racers, teams and fans are travelling from out of town, and how much time and preparation goes into an event like this. No decisions have been made yet, and we'll provide another update tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14th.
