What an exciting day we had last Friday, our 20th
Anniversary as Mister T’s Ultramar!
We began with a picture with Andre Vivian. 20 years ago we bought Mister T’s from
Andre, and to this day he’s a regular customer of ours, we look forward to seeing him each and
every morning. Looking back, we can hardly believe where the past 20 years has gone. The
support we’ve received over the last 20 years has allowed us to build what once was a small 2
pump, one grade fuel station, to the remarkable store we have today! It would have never
happened if it wasn’t for the incredible support we get from each and every one of you. For that
we will be forever grateful.
The weather co-operated, our gas deliveries were on time, and we were able to pass on
significant gas discounts of up to 20¢ per liter, to our loyal customers. It went over extremely
well, and everyone was pleasantly surprised when they got to the cash, and discovered their
eligible fuel discount! It brought us so much joy to see the smiles on everyone's faces.
We also wish to give a HUGE thank you to all of our staff, who work tirelessly each and every
day, to provide the service you have become accustomed to receiving at Mister T’s. We feel
honored to be able to celebrate with two of our employees who have been with us since the
very beginning. Diane, our Manager and Sharon, one of our supervisors. We all started this
together, and have had so many things to celebrate over the years. We always say, we may
own Mister T’s, but they are a huge reason we have been able to build it to what it is today. We
do not miss an opportunity to remind them of what it all means to us
We would also like to give a special thank you to Haze and their staff at our Snows
Cones. As part of our celebration, we continue to support the family of Nash Vey in his fight
against Cancer. We were able to donate the proceeds of all our sales at Snows Cones for the
Day to the Vey Family, along with many donations which were made by you, either at our BBQ
or at the donation cans at both locations. The staff delivered exceptional service and provided a
fun atmosphere to all our customers on Friday. The Dairy bar looked amazing, and they were
excited to serve all those that came through the doors. Its heartwarming to see the kindness
and generosity our community has in times like this. We would like to extend a sincere thank
you to all that came out to show their support. Rest assured, we are eternally grateful.
We had a lovely surprise on Friday afternoon, a visit from one of our most loyal and
caring customers, and our very own MHA, Bettina Ford. Bettina stopped by to present myself
and Patsy with a Certificate on behalf of the House of Assembly recognizing our support of the
community. Thanks so much to Tammy, and our staff for reaching out to Bettina to ask if she
could, on behalf of government, make this presentation. To say we were elated, would be an
understatement! As Bettina indicated, it means so much more, that the request came directly
from our staff, having Bettina present it, was the icing on the cake. Such a proud moment for the
both of us!
Finally a huge shout out to all of you who came out to celebrate this monumental
occasion with each and every one of us. we thoroughly enjoyed the day to the fullest, and
realize what a wonderful community we all have the pleasure of living in, Cheers to Gander and
all of the surrounding communities! We are fortunate to have you, and we look forward to
