Phantom Now THAT'S performance! Finally, the convenience of a true, power operated retractable hardtop is available in a streetrod !

Imagine cruising into your next car show or cruise night with what looks like a very cool phantom hotrod, then picture the looks on your fellow cruisers when you retract the top, converting your 3 window coupe into a roadster, all without leaving your seat! Taking inspiration from the popular 1934 Ford 3 window coupe, our Phantom 34 takes the classic lines of the 1934 Ford to a new level with it's streamlined phantom style, combining the comfort of a coupe with the great open air feel of a roadster! Phantom Street Rods presents the first in a series of power operated retractable hardtops — our ’34 3 Window Coupe. From it's all steel body structure to top quality, hand laid, flame retardent fibreglass laminated outer body shell with inner sound deadening materials, Phantom Street Rods are designed to the highest quality standards to provide the most pleasurable driving experience possible for the discriminating street rodder. Our variety of build options from chassis to body and interiors are handcrafted to your specifications, making your Phantom a truly unique expression of your good taste.

Time to move on to a new project- 1972 Corvette coupe. This is a local car that was last driven in 1992!
The car has had a frame off restoration with the original chassis having performance upgrades per GM tech bulletins, then sandblasted, galvanized and painted. Rear spring has been replaced with a composite leaf, new body mounts and stainless lines…..

Getting closer to the finished product …. Replaced dash pad and installed C4 Corvette seats. I tried something different for the under hood clean up- walnut shells did a great job where the pressure washer just didn’t cut it.
Other than a few details it’s ready for summer cruising. Next winter’s project will be replacing all the wiring, gauges, ignition, fuel injection (I’m leaning towards 6 dual throat side drafts) and Vintage Air.

Well, I think it's way past time for me to say thank you very much for all the comments I've received and for those following I'll try to make my posts a little more regular!
My latest project has been a build for my wife. She's always had a soft spot for the Jaguar XJS V12 coupe so I've been working on one for her.
I started off with buying a pair of '88 coupes and used the best of the two to make one. I'm really wishing I had taken more pictures but I'll try to do better in the future....
I started off by replacing the roof skin to eliminate the aftermarket sunroof, then replaced the hood trunk and doors with rust free units. The right rear quarter panel had light collision damage and both rear quarter panels behind the rear wheels needed rust repair as well as the lower front fenders.

Congratulations for putting on a great show, and thank you for the opportunity to participate!
