IMPORTANT UPDATE!!

📢 Important Alberta Registries Update

Effective October 26, 2026, the Alberta Government will discontinue the 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 form. To authorize someone else to complete a registries service on your behalf, you must now log in to your Alberta.ca Account (https://account.alberta.ca/) and complete the authorization process online.

Please note that registry agents do not have access to Alberta.ca accounts and cannot provide technical support for account-related issues. If you experience difficulties logging in or completing the online authorization, you may need to contact the Alberta.ca Service Team for assistance.

Support conservation efforts with a new special licence plate.

Proceeds from sales of the new plate will be directed to the Alberta Conservation Association, a trusted organization with a long history of stewardship, habitat restoration, wildlife research, and support for sustainable outdoor activities across Alberta.

The plate features an iconic painting of three Alberta bighorn sheep with Mount Lougheed in the background.

You can get yours starting September 1 for $75, plus a $15 registry agent fee, and standard vehicle registration fees apply. They will be available starting on Alberta.ca and in local registries.
