EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Position: Automotive Shop Assistant – Part-Time
Location: North Auto Garage | Chisasibi, QC
North Auto Garage is seeking a reliable, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Part-Time Automotive Shop Assistant.
This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an automotive shop environment and develop new skills. There is also the possibility of transitioning into a full-time position for an employee who consistently demonstrates commitment, dedication, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will assist with the day-to-day operations of the garage, including:
• Assisting technicians with basic automotive tasks
• Assisting with tire changes, tire balancing, and tire storage
• Assisting with oil changes and general vehicle maintenance
• Moving vehicles in and out of service bays as required
• Organizing tools, equipment, parts, and shop supplies
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Cleaning service bays and work areas throughout the day
• Assisting with receiving and organizing inventory
• Helping prepare vehicles and work areas for scheduled appointments
• Following workplace health and safety procedures
• Providing assistance to other team members when required
• Completing other general shop duties as assigned by management

Previous automotive experience is considered an asset but is not required. Training and guidance can be provided to the right individual who demonstrates a genuine willingness to learn.
