🤍 A quick note from The Red Apron 🤍

I’ve heard a few questions and worries about where The Red Apron is going, so I wanted to clear things up.

Everything you know and love is staying the same.
Same recipes.
Same quality.
Same delivery days and process my mom originally built this business on.

My goal is not to change The Red Apron, but to protect it.

The only things you may notice being different are:
• updated labels
• a few new items being added — recipes my mom had already been working on but hadn’t released yet

I may also be moving to two deliveries per week, with everything delivered before the weekend. All deliveries will always be clearly posted so you know exactly what to expect.

I completely understand that change can feel uncomfortable. This business was built with care, love, and loyalty, and my priority is to honor that — and to keep the customers who have supported The Red Apron from the beginning feeling happy, comfortable, and confident.

For those inquiring;

YES, we will still be a FULL SERVE gas station once the new pumps are fully installed.

The gas pumps are tenatively expected to be ready by tomorrow evening, pending everything going smoothly.

Will update as we get more details.

TODAY’S HOURS: 4PM-10PM
CONVENIENCE STORE ONLY

We are sad to report that the package in transit with the integral piece to connect our new fuel dispensers to our tills to complete the installation has now been lost in transit.

We are being sent a second piece that is scheduled to arrive on site tomorrow so that we can finish our installation.

We are incredibly sorry for any inconvenience, and appreciate your patience as we do everything we can to have this resolved in a timely manner.

In the meantime, we will be open for all things convenience and update everyone as soon as our pumps are up and running again (tenatively, tomorrow afternoon).

Again, we apologize and hope to see you back at the pumps soon.

We will be CLOSED for the morning.

We had anticipated that everything would be completed after today’s closure; however, the part needed to connect our new gas dispensers to the tills is still in transit and is now scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Once connected, some troubleshooting is required before we can open.

We apologize for the inconvenience and sincerely thank everyone for their patience and understanding.

In honour of Colleen, our hours tomorrow Thursday, October 23rd will be 4:00PM - 10:00PM.

Thank you for understanding as we take this time to pay our respects.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved store owner, Colleen Perreault (Ozhowashko Anakwadok).

Colleen was not only a proud owner of the store alongside her sister-in-law Cathy, but also the heart and soul of our business.

Her strength, dedication, and unwavering work ethic were an inspiration to everyone who knew her. She built countless friendships through her kindness, warmth, and genuine care for both customers and staff.

Beyond her dedication to the store, Colleen was the matriarch of her family — a loving, guiding presence who put her heart into everything she did, whether it was serving her community or taking care of those she loved most.

Her legacy of hard work, compassion, and family devotion will live on in all of us. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
