Ladies and gentlemen we are back on google finally. Google removed us back in May of last year. We unfortunately had to close that page a start a new one. A real shame as we had a 5 star rating with 25 reviews. With starting fresh we have no rating now. So I ask you, please use the QR code pictured and either use google lens or you partners phone to scan it off and leave a review on our google page. Reviews will help make us more visible to others in the community as well as tourist visiting our great towns. I know I know the tourists are a love hate relationship but if you want them to come visit leave a review so they can experience the hospitality when they need help from Lowe's Towing and if you want them to leave, then leave a review so I can help them go home. Please don't leave a review if you haven't used my services before, im not looking to boost my numbers, just want to help people get where they're going

This is the 2nd driver killed needlessly in a very short amount of time. It was very sad to hear this happen so close to home. Lowe's Towing would like to express our deepest condolences to the family of the operator and co workers. Please slow down and move over.

As the 2025 year comes to an end. Lowe's Towing would like to say thank you to everyone who called us this year, everyone who recommended us to their friends and family and even complete strangers. We have a moto here at Lowe's Towing, that was taught to me by my grandfather, 1 treat others like you would like to be treated ( everyone knows this one) 2 You are only as good as your name, and we put our name on the truck. We strive to be the best in the area, not by being the cheapest but providing understanding and compassion for your situation. Yesterday a tow operator was hit and killed on the 401 near cambridge, we would like to express our deepest condolences to their family and company. We would like to remind everyone to please SLOW DOWN AND MOVE OVER! This was 100% preventable and should never happen.

It has been a little bit since we have posted. We have been busy with work and life and maintenance. We are slowly changing our look of the truck we operate. Before it was just a run of the mill truck like every other. Stay tuned to see our new look rolling out soon. You may even see the truck around town during the updates. You will soon be able to know exactly who it is without even reading the name on the side.

Today at Lowe's Towing we had an interesting encounter with an OPP officer. While hauling the truck pictured from Midland to Lions Head we were pulled over by an OPP officer who was leaving a business and we were headed toward a round about. After we passed the officer and about 3 more cars passed him he pulled out with lights flashing. Unfortunately we couldn't pull over right away due to the roundabout having a single lane bypass so we completed our turn with proper signals and pulled over as soon as it was safe and left room for the office to pass. We quickly realized it was us he was after. As he walked up to our window he checked our load securement making sure my safety chains and hook up was correct. When he came to the window he said " I apologize for pulling you over, it looked like you didn't have any tow lights on the towed vehicle but I quickly was proven wrong when you signalled your turn and brake lights came on." I explained my wireless lights are not the typical ones you see on tow trucks but work better for aluminum bodies vehicles because they can be placed on the bumpers if they are steel. We both showed each other respect for the jobs we perform and had a quick chat, I told him where I was headed we shook hands and I was on my way. I would say this officer likes his job and is able to admit when he is wrong. I know we don't hear about the good police encounters at that's what this post is for. I had no issue with the officer doing his job to the best of his ability and when the situation changed he admitted his mistake and corrected it. He could have easily shut his lights off and done nothing but we both agreed it would have looked bad with lights going passing a few vehicles only to shut them off. Not all police are bad, show them respect and they will usually show you respect. This was also the first OPP officer I have seen with a body worn camera. My hats off to the officer today.

CAA members this post is for you. Even before the last storm I get calls regularly from CAA members being told wait times are sometimes 2 to 3 to 4 hours. Yes the majority are getting good wait times under 1 hour. But if you are getting a truck that is not who was stated in your confirmation text or email or if the truck isn't easily identified as a CAA contractor truck meaning it should have a clearly visible logo on both sides of the truck saying CAA, make sure you are reporting it to CAA. They want to know if this is happening.You should only be dealing with a CAA truck. If you are not call in right away to verify who they are. If your wait time is more then 45 mins ask if you can hire your own tow truck and be reimbursed. CAA is under the impression only CAA trucks are servicing their customers in Wellington county. Feel free to call them and verify your local contractors the number is on the back of your card.

Again make sure your complaints are heard at CAA if you're wanting better service in our area they need to know. Only the number on your card is the place to call.
