Hard to believe how time flashes by when working through crisis. To everyone going through tough times you know this all too well..
3 years ago my dad, our fearless leader, helper of the people, friend to thousands and all around beautiful human suffered bilateral strokes leaving him bed ridden with little function. Time heals most but in some cases rebounding isn’t in the cards.
Some things you can control, some things you cannot. But laying down to meet our demise was never an option and never will be. Storms can be weathered if you have what it takes and we have shown that we can do just that.
As a family we have been through the ringer. Countless appointments, multiple relocations, massive amounts of uncertainty and mounting costs. Enough pressure to bury many but that pressure is enough to also produce diamonds. Day in and day out our family has handled whatever has been thrown our way and we will continue to do so to the bitter end.
As a business we have seen our ups and downs. Economic shifts in both directions, daunting tariff pressure, abysmal market conditions and local industry closures... But we keep showing up. The amount of work our small team has put in through it all is astonishing, if my dad could see us now he would surely be proud of what we have accomplished.
We try our best to help anyone in need as we have always done, we stand together in the face of adversity. We aren’t miracle workers but some days it sure feels like it and I couldn’t be more proud of the gang we have here. Honesty and professionalism are all you have in this business, my dad was a testament to that. The ground work he laid over 28 years is the only reason we are still standing here today.
We are here. The same people who were here for you before are here for you now. No games, no gimmicks, no nonsense. We’ve got product, we’ve got knowledge and we’ve got work ethic. If you need it we will work to the best of our ability to make that happen. If you don’t need it.. well then maybe you just want it, we take those too.
To all who have wished us well and supported us through this time, we thank you and hope you continue to do so. To those who have not we pay no mind to that. We have great customers to serve and will not be hindered by hearsay or ill thoughts. If you want the horses mouth you got er.
Some morals to this story.. stay strong in what you know and believe. Take care of yourself, do what is best for you. Take the time to enjoy the things you’ve worked hard for, don’t take anything for granted. Life is short and can turn on a dime, it’s up to you to steer it in the right direction.
Keep us in mind if you need a new unit, it goes without saying we would be honoured to serve you.
Here’s a snippet of the last few photos I have of my dad pictured with my daughter at 2 months. She is now 3 years old with a 2 month old brother added to the family. My son will hear the many stories to be told about his Papa and learn just how great the man he is named after was..
