Slow Down. Move Over.
Lives Depend On It.

When you see someone like us on the side of the road, please slow down and move over.

Those safety pylons aren’t decorations — they mark the space where I’ll be working around my truck. They’re there to protect everyone:

• To prevent you from a serious personal injury charge
• And more importantly, to prevent a life-changing tragedy
• To give me the safe space I need while helping someone in need

Every call means someone is already having a tough day. Please don’t make it worse.

Slow down. Move over. Give roadside workers and emergency crews the room they need to get home safely.

🚨 Snow Day PSA 🚨

Don’t go out unless you absolutely have to. Some roads are closed, calls for help are stacking up, and snowplow operators are out there working hard while Mother Nature shows off. Let's give the snowplow operators the space to do their magic and not add to the problem and become road (or ditch) obstacles. 😉

Today is not the day to test your tires, your patience, or your “I’ve driven in worse” ego. Grab a warm drink, get cozy and enjoy the chaos from the comfort of your couch. The snow will still be here tomorrow — and it’s in no rush to leave.

Stay safe everyone.

🚨 SERIOUS INCIDENT – WITNESSES & DASH CAM FOOTAGE REQUESTED 🚨

Over the past six weeks, three tow truck drivers have been killed and one seriously injured. This makes what occurred today even more alarming.

Today — Friday, January 9th, 2026, just after 2:00 PM, on Wellington Rd. 26, south of Wellington Rd. 22, a tow operator was actively working a scene.

The tow truck was properly positioned across the northbound lanes, with emergency lights activated and reflective pylons clearly set out. While the operator was handling the winch cable, a U-Haul truck that had been stopped suddenly accelerated, driving directly through the pylons.

One pylon struck the tow driver, and the U-Haul nearly hit the operator himself. The driver of the U-Haul continued driving, laughing and smirking, showing no concern whatsoever for the safety or wellbeing of the tow operator.
This was reckless, dangerous, and completely unacceptable behavior.
The incident has been reported to authorities.

We would also like to sincerely thank the concerned members of the public who were stopped that jumped out to check on the tow operator.
If you were in the area at that time and have dash cam footage or witnessed this incident, PLEASE message us immediately.

Your information could be critical.
Tow operators deserve to go home safely.

This cannot continue.

Our thoughts and prayers to the company and family to this driver. THIS NEEDS TO STOP.

RIP to the tow truck operator killed in Wellington County collision.

A tow truck operator has died after they were hit by a vehicle in Wellington County.

First responders were called to Wellington Road 26, between Sideroad 27 and Sideroad 30, on Dec. 27 around 9:15 p.m. The Ontario Provincial Police said the driver of a vehicle hit a tow truck operator while they were helping another driver.

The 39-year-old from Richmond Hill was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead two days later.

The driver of the vehicle that hit the tow truck driver was also taken to hospital, but their injuries were minor.

Police have not said if any charges have been laid.

Anyone with more information is urged to contact investigators.

This incident comes as friends and family mourn the loss of a Kitchener tow truck operator who was killed in a hit-and-run on Highway 401 near Drumbo.

Last week, police charged a 32-year-old from Mount Hope, a community near Hamilton, for that incident.

In Ontario, motorists must, by law, slow down when passing a tow truck with flashing amber lights and move over if they can do so safely.

Heads up drivers. Be safe!

are urging the public to remain off roadways unless absolutely necessary. With the abundance of snow, visibility is limited and roadways are quickly becoming covered with snow. Please use caution if you must travel, remember wear your seat belts, ensure you let others know when you expect to make it to your destination, and drive to the conditions.
