What an incredible day at our Soap Box Race!🏁🏎️

Thank you to everyone that came out to race, cheer, and make the event such a success!

🏁 2026 Elk Point Soap Box Derby Race 🏁
🗓️June 30, 2026 ⏱️7pm

The count down is on! Think you’ve got what it takes to conquer the hill? Join us on 51st (between the two schools) for a evening of racing!

🏎️ Custom Built, NON motorized soap box cars only- racers will rely solely on gravity to make it down the course. 🏎️

A Few Race requirements:
✅Must have a functioning brake system.
✅Helmet & closed toe shoes.
✅Rubber tires.
✅Waiver must be completed before racing.

Don’t have a car? No problem! We have a few you can borrow, but we highly encourage participants to build and bring their own to get the whole soapbox experience.
