Northern Alberta Sports Car Club NASCC Racing and Events

Northern Alberta Sports Car Club NASCC Racing and Events The NASCC is Alberta's premier non-profit summer and winter car racing club! We hold over a dozen events yearly designed to get you out on track!

Club meetings on the first Wednesday of each month at Leefield Hall in Edmonton. Organizer of wheel to wheel ice and road racing events including racing and driving schools. Founded in 1957, the NASCC organized its first sports car race August 16,1958 at the Edmonton International Airport. It's first ice Race was held on Lac St. Anne at Alberta Beach, on January 8,1961. Countless rallies and slalo

ms have been run. Although Canada's national FIA - related organization has changed, the NASCC has always been affiliated with the Geneva based FIA. Therefore, NASCC members have always enjoyed connection to international motorsports. NASCC motorsports are family activities. Children and even grandchildren of NASCC members are now active in the club. Many NASCC members have gone on to play roles in prominent international motorsports, having learned to prepare and drive cars and organize events in the competitive yet supportive environment of the NASCC. The club also supports the community; for example, it has been involved with CHED's Santa's Anonymous for over 49 years.

POLL:
This year we would like to help out our endurance racers by eliminating the full course yellow after the King of the Road.

To do this it would mean the King of the Road runs the last 1.5 hrs of the endurance race.

Would you rather KoR take place within the first 1.5hrs (more cars at start) or the last 1.5hrs of the endurance race(more cars taking chequered flag)?

👍 LIKE for the FIRST 1.5hrs
❤️ HEART for the LAST 1.5hrs
