We put so many items in our vehicle trunk, from our food shop to junk for the eco station.

So no wonder, over time our vehicle trunk can get very dirty, and the carpet in the trunk seems to always be the most difficult to clean lol.

What I use my steam cleaner for in your vehicle:

Generally, during every interior detail, it is used to clean anything from door panels to fabric surfaces, and many other finishes.

My Dupray steam machine kills up to 99.99% of bacteria and viruses; it will clean and sanitize any surface naturally.

Using steam reduces my dependence on using cleaning products, where possible.

The less cleaning products I use, the better for me and my client; when possible, I just use steam, but sometimes I need to use cleaning product plus steam for stubborn, dirty areas.

Auto detailing, like any other job, having the right tools and equipment really does make a huge difference.

Let’s talk about the centre console.

This area can get very dirty: drinks, crumbs, not to mention all the buttons and the gear stick.

There are so many cracks and crevices for dirt to hide, which can be difficult to clean and remove.

Top Tip:
If you ever spill a drink or crumbs in this area, do not fear something as simple as a cocktail stick or a wooden skewer and a microfibre can save the day.

These simple tools enable you to clean out the little gaps in the console.

If the culprit is a beverage, then a steamer is my go-to tool. I use a Dupray Tosca, and it is amazing. I also use my steamer around the house too, not just for detailing.

Foaming a vehicle? It's hands down the highlight for me every time. Beyond just the cool visuals, it's integral to my detailing routine.

The foam acts as a gentle pre-wash, lifting off any surface dirt or debris.

The foam then dwells on the surface for a few minutes, I then complete a thorough rinse, and proceed to the hand wash.
