Time for another Moab adventure film!

For me, Moab isn’t just another wheeling trip—it’s a tradition.

My first visit was fueled by curiosity and a sense of adventure. It was about learning the trails, exploring the unknown, and pushing both my Jeep and myself to our limits.

By my second trip, my Jeep was finally dialed in—maybe even a little overbuilt for the kind of wheeling I do. The focus shifted from preparation to experience, taking on more challenging trails that brought both rewarding victories and humbling failures.

Now, with nothing left to prove, I can simply appreciate everything Moab has to offer. Every run out into the desert is less about testing limits and more about enjoying the journey, the scenery, and the unforgettable trails and the great company of friends.

I've been wheeling for quite a few years now; I like to think I've gained valuable experience over the years. I'm going to do my best to answer the quesiton of lights or lockers; so that y'all can make better, more informed decissions, when chosing over the two.

I even use a real-work example of a life-and-death scenario where chosing one over the other would have saved a life.

In August, I hit the road for a couple of unforgettable adventures—nearly 5,000 km traveled in just two weeks.

Week one was all about rest and recharge in Montana with the little wifey. Week two? That’s where things got real.

For the first time ever, I headed into the Chilcotins—solo—with a brand-new co-pilot riding shotgun. We rolled out of the mighty town of Williams Lake, pointed the Jeep west toward the coastal mountains, and just drove.

No itinerary.
No plan.
Just the road ahead.

How far did we make it?
Did we run out of gas?
Did I have to shoot a bear??
