The City of Edmonton needs to step it up when it comes to cleaning and maintaining residential roads.

This week, we had a single father come in needing suspension work due to deep ruts in the road. Many Edmontonians simply cannot afford major vehicle repair bills. No one should have to choose between fixing their car and providing school lunches for their children, or worry about how they’ll get to work.

We repaired his vehicle and gave him a substantial discount because this damage was not his fault and not regular wear and tear. He wasn’t the only customer we’ve seen with the same issue—but his story stayed with us.

Parents—both mothers and fathers—should be able to drop their kids off safely at school and get to work without fear of vehicle damage caused by poor road conditions.

We will continue serving our community during this time and offer discounts wherever we can. We’re a small, family-owned business—just middle-class folks trying to look out for our neighbors.
