Flamboro Downs will open for training on Thursday, Aug. 6th.

Training hours will be on Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. until 12 noon.

A reminder to horsepeople that training is conducted out of the shipping barn, not the paddock.

Racing will return to Flamboro Downs on Sunday, Sept. 6th with a first race post time of 6:35 p.m.

The track's first qualifiers will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12th at 4 p.m.

On our final weekend of the Spring Race Meet, we’d like to take a moment to thank the owners, trainers, drivers, grooms, caretakers, and support teams who make racing at Flamboro Downs possible 🙌

Through cold winter nights, unpredictable weather, and long hours, your hard work, dedication, and passion for the sport are what keep our backstretch and racetrack thriving.

‼️ Racing Cancelled for Sunday May 24, 2026 ‼️

Racing is scheduled to resume Thursday, May 28th with a first race post time of 6:25 PM.

‼️ After the running of race 2 at Flamboro Downs on Saturday, May 23rd a decision was reached by the horse people to cancel the remainder of the race card due to deteriorating track conditions due to weather conditions.

Racing is scheduled to resume on Sunday, May 24th with a first race post time of 6:25 PM.
