Greetings everyone ...It's been quite a while since I have posted an update, or for that matter anything!....I headed back to Destruction Bay last Wed around noon...Jeep was loaded to the hilt, including the back seat's floor. With just enough room in the back seat to squeeze in and have some snoozes on the way. 41/2 days to drive the over 1,600 miles through Northern B.C. and the Yukon through snow, rain and more blinding rain. Grabbing a shut eye every once in a while in the most uncomfortable sleeping section for the odd hour or two'
Got home and it was chilly last wknd. I had a bit of fire wood left in the cold house and got it going. Only to unload the groceries and cooler and put away. That's it for now I said, I was tired and sore from the long trip. Having no internet access for almost a week, I was hesitant in going on line knowing what I was about to face....Started on Monday and sure enough, 3 pages of emails and over 60 notifications and 8 messages on Facebook....Another 20 or so reservation requests, along with emails from various caravan companies and groups....Just finished all that today...WHEW! Thanks for your patience everyone. Hopefully no cancellations this year, I just couldn't take another summer like the last two. 🙁
Well that's it for now, good to be back and getting normalized somewhat....You all take good care and we'll chat again soon...P.S. Happy Birthday to all that I missed in the meantime. I know that they were great days!
