Adding windows to your Tufport van top? Where you put them can make a big difference. 🚐🪟

Think about how you’ll use the space before deciding where to cut in the windows.

🍳 Kitchen area — A window beside the kitchen can bring in natural light and give you ventilation where you’re cooking.

🛏️ Bed area — Windows near the bed make the space feel more open and give you a little more light and airflow.

💨 Across from your MaxxAir fan — Positioning a window opposite the fan can help create cross-flow ventilation, moving fresh air through the van.

🚐 Passenger van? You may not need additional windows at all. If your van already has plenty of factory windows, keeping the Tufport top solid can give you more flexibility for storage and cabinetry.

📦 One thing to keep in mind: every window takes away some wall space that could otherwise be used for cabinetry, shelving or other storage.

The best window layout isn't necessarily the one with the most windows, it’s the one that works with your floor plan.

Plan your kitchen, bed, ventilation and storage first. Then decide where the windows make the most sense.

A classic truck, a T62, and plenty of adventures ahead. 🌲🎣

This 1994 Chevrolet Silverado is in incredible condition—and now it has a Tufport T62 slide-in to match.

We couldn’t be happier to see this setup head out with such a wonderful couple who plan to use it for camping, fishing, and making the most of the great outdoors.

There’s something pretty special about pairing a well-loved classic truck with a Tufport camper. Built to get out there, stay comfortable, and keep the adventures going for years to come.

What a weekend!

We had an awesome time at the 1st Annual Vancouver Island Overland Rally and want to say a huge thank you to everyone who made it happen.

To the organizers and volunteers — thank you for all the work behind the scenes. Putting on a first-year event is no small thing, and you created such a fun, welcoming weekend for the overlanding community.

And to everyone who stopped by the Tufport booth — thank you! We loved chatting with you, showing you around the Overlander, hearing about your builds and trips, and catching up with some familiar faces along the way.

There’s something pretty great about getting a whole bunch of people together who all love getting outside, exploring, and talking gear.

We’re really happy we got to be part of the very first VIOR, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.

Thanks for making it such a great weekend!
