The schedule has been sent to the top support group. The recommendation is to manually recreate it, so it will be starting tomorrow.

But some updates on courses
1) Home Alone and Babysitting which was scheduled for the end of August will be pushed into September so we have time to book enough students to at least pay for the classroom rental

2) Those needing the 6 hour Driving improvement course we have a online (zoom type meeting on Sundays in August, and will have a course on the regular schedule (hopefully) in September - 3 times a month, one day on weekends. We also will do it one on one if requested. We have an online course as well

3) We still are not getting enough interest to hold a full 25 hour course for Learning how to drive. Again we have the online version that can be started anytime. The cost of that returns to normal on September 1.

Police lay stunting charges

Police charged a driver for stunting today in Bedford.

At approximately 9:15 a.m., a member of the Traffic Unit observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed outbound on Highway 102 near Larry Uteck Blvd. The officer observed the vehicle’s speed at 159 km/h in a 100 km/h zone.

An 18-year-old man was ticketed for stunting under the Motor Vehicle Act, a charge that is automatically laid when a vehicle is travelling more than 50 km/h over the speed limit. The fine in Nova Scotia for stunting is $2,422.50 and six points are assigned to the driver’s record. In addition, the driver received a seven-day license suspension, and the vehicle was seized.

We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe. If you see someone driving dangerously, report it to police by calling 911.

Babysitting Basics and Staying Home Alone course room change. We have been moved to room 3323 on Saturday the 20th

Hello. We got these questions a lot especially about the Babysitting Basics and Staying Home alone courses. We do have a registration page and payment. That means those that do have a seat and a certificiate will be availiable when they leave. Those that take a chance the day off we will take payment at the door, but there is an extra $5 added to cover the extra costs involved. We go up to the space that's in our contract where ever we are in. That changes with each location. The next date is June 20th at NSCC Ivany Campus. Also I know the booking page has a number, but that is not always reflect those sending in a group. So even if it looks like there is 20 spaces in a class, there may only be 10 in reality. We're trying to get that glitch fixed with the company but every update it seems to come back.
