Job Title: RV Technician

Join our Team!

Courtenay RV Specialists is seeking a permanent, full-time RV Apprentice or Red seal RV Technician. We need an RV Tech who can troubleshoot, diagnose, and examine units and has the skill and knowledge to repair, install and maintain the inside and outside of RV’s which include Motorhomes, Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheel Trailers, Camper Vans, Truck Campers and Tent Trailers. If you’re passionate about the RV industry, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
o Read and write repair orders
o Install and Repair RV accessories and aftermarket upgrades
o Install Trailer and 5th Wheel Hitches
o Wire Tow Vehicles
o Repair, Replace and Maintain Brake and Bearings
o Sealant Inspections and Repairs
o Repairs to fiberglass, body and structures
o Trouble shoot, repair and maintain propane and electric appliances such as Water Heaters, Furnaces, Refrigerators, Ranges, and Air Conditioners
o Install, repair, replace and maintain:
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing systems
- Battery and charging systems
- Propane gas systems
- Awnings
- Solar panels
- Roofs, sidings, windows, doors, vents
- Floor coverings, cabinets, counters

Requirements:
o Completion of Level 1, Level 2 or Red seal of the Recreation Vehicle Service Technician Course or equivalent experience in the RV Industry
o Class 5 driving Licence
o Able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
o Bending, Lifting, Kneeling, Reaching
o Time management skills
o Strong understanding of RV systems and components
o Thorough and detailed understanding in diagnosing RV issues and performing repairs
o Effective communication and customer service skills
o Your own basic tools and steel-toed footwear
