Job Title: Journeymen Automotive Mechanic

📄Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including oil changes, brake services, tire rotations
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues , including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to disassemble, inspect, and assemble vehicle components
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and functionality
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs, costs, and timelines
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques
- Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Use Protractor for work orders and timeclock
📗Skills & Qualifications
- Journeymen Automotive Technician certification
certification or degree in Automotive Technology is preferred, but not required
- ASE certification or equivalent is considered an asset
- Experience with Protractor considered an asset, but not required
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for automotive repair
- Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs are made
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of customer service
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the automotive industry
