JOB POSTING – Parts Advisor

Bruce’s Recreation is looking for a full-time Parts Advisor to join our company.
Duties include:
• Meet and greet customers in a courteous manner and provide prompt customer service.
• Answer parts department phone calls, emails and messages.
• Communicate with service writer and technicians to complete an accurate estimate of cost parts.
• Communicate with service writer and technicians to determine parts needed and promptly supply and order.
• Verify the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
• Work with the Sales team to coordinate seamless delivery of new and used vehicles.
• Merchandising and promoting parts and accessories throughout the showroom.
• Selling of over-the-counter parts, accessories and tires.
• Ordering and receiving parts.
• Use electronic databases to look up parts and accessories, and source parts as required.
• Complete all training, as required.
• Demonstrate behaviour consistent with the company's vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers.
• Maintain a high level of Health and Safety at all times.
• Other duties assigned by your manager.
Qualifications:
• Recreation products parts service knowledge and experience an asset.
• Motivation and willingness to learn is a must.
• Must be self-motivated, ambitious and driven to succeed with the ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Computer skills. Lightspeed inventory system knowledge an asset.
• High school diploma.
• Valid driver’s license is required, along with a clean Drivers Abstract.
Hours of work are typically 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
