Aldergrove Truck and Crane is hiring for a Mechanic to join our growing team! Aldergrove Truck and Crane is a small, family owned company based out of the Aldergrove/Langley area of British Columbia. We have been in business for 5+ years and we have over 20 years of experience in the Heavy Duty Industry. We provide in-shop, on-road and on-site repairs and servicing to all types of HD Trucks and Equipment. Apprentices & Non Ticketed mechanics are welcomed.

Our technicians regularly need to be able to diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and perform preventative maintenance to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on a variety of equipment. Repairs are performed both in house & in the field.

Our ideal candidate will be:

Reliable

Punctual

Strong Organizational Skills

Independent & Self Motivated

Avid Learner

Strong Diagnostic Skills

Experience in an HD Shop

Own tools

Class 5 license & capability to safely operate company vehicles

Class 3 or Class 1 license considered an asset**

Shift & Schedule:

Monday - Friday - 8am -4:30pm + optional OT

or

Monday - Friday - 2:30pm - 11:00pm + optional OT

Saturday, Sunday + Holidays - Optional OT

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

2 Years of Aldergrove Truck and Crane - What a wild ride this has been. Rain, Shine, Snow we've worked through it all. Aldergrove Truck and Crane started out with 1 truck and 1 man behind the wheel. From that we have expanded to having our 2 bay shop, 3 service trucks and a team of mechanics that we couldn't be doing this without. We cannot wait to see where we will be in another 2!

We are looking for someone with knowledge and an interest in heavy duty trucks & equipment to assist our parts team. Our ideal candidate:

- Is able to assist our Parts Manager with organizing our stock, taking inventory and helping keep our shop clean and organized

- Has a class 5 license with a clean driver's abstract

- Ability to work independently and within a team

- Quick learner

- Hardworking & Motivated

- Ability to lift 50lbs regularly

- Previous parts knowledge with heavy duty truck and equipment an asset

- Comfortable driving larger pieces of equipment and larger vehicles

Hours: Mon - Fri, 8AM - 4PM with regular required overtime
