DRTuned Racing will be offering tuning support with the VFTuner platform, which extends compatibility to the 2024+ Denso ECUs currently unsupported by MazdaEdit.
We will be performing some quick testing with the software to be able to transfer our existing developed tunes over to the new system, and ensure we can produce the same level of quality or make adjustments to our calibrations as needed.
Provided we don't encounter any issues with the platform, we can expect to release full tuning support for the new gen ECUs in the next few weeks.
This will include the re-addition of supercharged Skyactiv tuning as a potential option, as VFTuner adds the necessary controls needed to create a safer, better tune to protect the engine under boost.
At a minimum, we expect the performance to be equal to what we already offer through MazdaEdit, and may open up the ability for additional gains for the N/A engines as well
We will appreciate everyone's patience, as our entire workflow is currently built around MazdaEdit, and many of our automated processes during initial onboarding may not be suitable, and it will take some time to redevelop these once we know what is required to mimic the seamless onboarding we currently have established.
Eventually 2.5T tuning will also be offered through VFTuner, though this will require additional testing and development to ensure we can properly transfer our Tier 1 tuning, and adapt our ongoing Tier 2 development to work with the VFTuner system as well.
Tier 2 will continue to be developed for MazdaEdit as an upgrade for current Tier 1 customers, and we have made breakthroughs that will see a Tier 2 release on the horizon very soon.
Thank you all!
Daniel
