This Labour Day, we celebrate the people behind the work.
Labour Day in Canada has roots in the 1872 Toronto printers’ strike, where workers advocated for a nine-hour workday and better working conditions. In 1894, Labour Day officially became a Canadian holiday.
Today, we recognize the skill, dedication, and hard work of the people who keep our communities and industries moving.
At Westcan Manufacturing, we’re proud of the people behind every product we build—and of the tradespeople, teachers, customer service representatives, healthcare and all hardworking professionals everywhere who put their skills to work every day.
Happy Labour Day from all of us at Westcan Manufacturing!
