We’ve been hearing from customers that some dealerships are creating confusion around rust protection and vehicle warranties, so let’s clear this up.

Getting your vehicle sprayed at Oil Gard does not automatically void your warranty. That is simply not true.

We regularly spray brand new vehicles, including EVs, hybrids, and traditional gas vehicles. In fact, some customers won’t even take delivery until their vehicle has been brought to us for its first spray.

We had to show you these skid plates we pulled off a vehicle before spraying. A lot of newer vehicles have them, but they can trap dirt, road salt, moisture, and even rodent nests against the bottom of your car or SUV.

That’s not something you want sitting there speeding up the rust process. That’s why we recommended this customer, and you, leave them off. 👍
