I fu**ed up.... not really but something did happen!

I had this Volkswagen Jetta in just a few months ago for a ceramic coating. Almost no hydrophobics present while washing and even after thorough decontamination, still flat. The coating failed!

It's one of those mysteries you'll never figure out. Could have been my prep, my install, the temperature and humidity during curing or simply just a bad batch... either way I completely stripped the vehicle and applied a new coating and this white is poppin again 👌

I've installed about 100 coatings in the past few years and this is the first to fail. 😕

10+ hours into this Dodge Grand Caravan returning it to a showroom finish! Complete steam cleaning was in order for this one along with plenty of hair removal and lots of sticky stuff!
