Grand Bend Motorplex is a multi purpose motorsports facility consisting of a 1/4 mile dragstrip, and a multi circuit road course for cars, bikes, and go-karts.

TONIGHTS LAPPING IS CANCELLED Due to multiple Forecasts for tonight - rain at 75% or higher from 5pm on, at 40-50mls, plus Thunderstorm and Tornado warnings on my phone in the last hour, we have decided to cancel tonight's lapping program. I bit of rain isn't a big deal but major Rain/Thunderstorms isn't something we want our participnats involved in.

As part of our Nostalgia Wkd we offer a Car Show aspect on the Saturday. Any car that is model year 2000 or older - Driver gets in Free ! (parking in the Car Show area as we want all attendees to see all the various cars etc. from the past in one area). Enjoy a day at the Drags - Display your car, meet other attendees, watch some drag racing with cars from the ONDR series (1974 and older) plus our regular GBM Thunder series competitors.
For Families this day includes a car load program - for $60 ( individual adult price is $35/day)

Here are the results from the 2 Wheel Warriors Motorcycle event at GBM this wkd. Due to the 100% chance of rain on Sunday it was decided to run both races on Saturday.
Saturdays races
In the Open ET class Landioin Swain and Trevor Rock met in the final with Landon taking the win as Trevor broke out by .0077
In Harley ET Tyler Loveridge was the winner as Scott Paste turned on the red light at the launch.
In the Sled program Brian Dilling ( a first timer on a sled) took the win over Colleen Albin as both riders broke out, but Brian was closer to the dial.
The 8.90 Index class was won by Ian Washington over Steve Streatch running closer to the index.
Sundays races
In Open ET Trevor Rock prevailed over Craig Washington with a starting line advantage and running closer to the dial.
Harley ET saw Tyler Loveridge win again on a solo pass.
The Sled program sawTony Bianco take the win over Colleen Albin with Tony running right on his dial
Ian Washington won 8.90 again unopposed in the final
The Outlaw Sled program was a Heads up program won my Anthony Mini running 4.44 at 150.35mph in the 1/8th. over David Marshal who ran 4.63 but at 162.81mph.
Pro Bike class was a 1/4 mile competition in which Todd Hope was the victor running 8.05 at 155.87mph vs Rick Giroux's 8.12 at 161.23 mph. Rick made it close (.02 difference) with a starting line advantage of almost .05 seconds.

Next drag event at GBM is June 26-28th the very popular Nostalgia Wkd with ONDR, GBM Thunder series, and the Kids Country Club Charity race, plus a Car Show, etc.
