Maple City Tire Mod ET- Father vs son duel Jay Talbot vs Jeff Talbot and Dad won as Jeff turned on the red bulb.
Tommy's Motors Top ET - Jay Talbot doubled up as Jesse Searson had some issues with his dragster in the final
Fox's Autosound Sportsman - Kim Arquette gets the win over Jack Collins as Jack turned on the red bulb.
Washington Pools/Concrete Solutions Bike/Sled - Brandon Satchell was the victor over Tyler Priddle with the reaction time advantage.
CSN Collision Open Comp - Tom Parent took the win over David Keller with both a reaction time and closer to the dial run.
Rocksedge Extreme 32 - with its largest field of the year saw Liz Quesnelle with the win over Jesse Searson both were close on the tree buy Liz ran right on her dial with a 5.
Advanced Drainage Systems Junior Dragster - saw Keith Lindsay go the distance with a win over Gabriel Pompilio.
Junior Consolation - was won by Austin Vermuelen over Nevaeh Gomes.

Day 2 of "Thunder by the Beach" Labour Day Wkd is almost done. We have had some great racing here today,.over 200 entries in total, a 300MPH pass by Otis Symon in the Symon Jet Dragster and great shows by Russ Lethbridge in the HELLFIRE JET TRUCK as always.
Come on out tomorrow to see the elimination rounds of the Outlaw Fast 16 series, plus its championship day for the GBM Thunder & Junior Programs, the Jets will, be running again as well. Its going to be a beautiful day to watch some drag racing. We also have the largest NO PREP race of the season happening as well.

Here is the info re FRIDAY EVENINGS NATIONAL EVENT RACE COMPLETION. Each winner will receive an IHRA Ironman, the Big Cheque and some additional cash. TD & TS winners $400, Box and No Box winners $300, Bike/Sled $250, Junior $200

Junior - split ladder 8.90 & Slower Chloe Parkin vs Datson Sones, Gabriel Pompilio (bye run)
Quicker than 8.90 Carter Parkin vs Christander Ouelette, Austin Vermuelen vs Charlie Bertana, Neveah Gomes vs Luke Sampson the 8.90 slower winner will move over to the other side.

If a competitor can't make make it - his competitor will get a broke bye.

Timetrial at 5pm elimination rounds 6pm-7pm-8pm for the programs in excess of 3 rounds we will add a 7:30pm and 8:30pm round if required.

2:05PM - TONIGHTS LAPPING PROGRAM IS CANCELLED - we did not meet the Threshold. Tonights lapping program does not look great. We currently only have 5 registered and the forecasts are 60% chance of rain/Thunderstorms from 6pm on. But thunderstorms can be hit or miss. We need to get to 10 entries to make it viable. Will make a final determination at 2pm today.

Some more aspects of the Labour day wkd at the Motorplex. In addition to this I forgot to mention the HEADS UP MOTORCYCLE PROGRAM with 200MPH competitors.

Here is the information re the Outlaw Fast 16 - 1/8th mile program for this weekend. This is not a typical TD/TS format, it is a series coming to GBM this weekend.
To run in this program Dragsters must dial 4.50 or quicker, Door Cars 4.70 or quicker, it is a qualified field by ET of 8 Door and 8 Dragster competitors ( if one side isn't full and the other side has more than 8 qualified entries those additional entries will fill the open spots). >500 Full Tree. Race dial-ins must be within 1/10th of qualifying time. No Throttle Stops, Courtesy Staging, Cross Talk is on. Round 1 pairings by Chip draw (Sunday morning), lane choice to the quickest qualified car. Rds 2-4 quicker car in previous round gets lane choice.
Entry fee is $400 driver and 4 crew, you have to enter the program before first qualifier on Saturday ( you can run more than one program on Saturday, but you can only run Outlaw Fast 16 on Sunday). If you have no crew or have entered a GBM program on say Friday night when you come to GBM (and paid for your crew) and then decide Saturday morning to join this program entry fee is $300.
Full field of 16 entries pays out $6500 and my understanding pays ( 50% winner, 25% Runner-up, 12.5% semi's ) If we have more entries than 16, you get Free Entry into the Extreme 32 race on Sunday or possibly a non qualifiers race ( depending on car numbers) TBD by series promoter.
Friday night at 7pm is a test hit, Saturday has 3 qualifiers. Sunday is eliminations ( times are on the Thunder by the Beach schedule).
