👋 **Meet Andrew LeCheminant**

Andrew has been working in the automotive industry for over 20 years, (7 of those as the service manager at Canadian Tire) so it’s safe to say he’s seen just about everything.

He’s fixed the “unfixable,” heard plenty of “it should only take five minutes,”

Six years ago, Andrew packed up and moved to Canada (from England), where he’s somehow managed to survive the winters ever since.

Outside of work, Andrew is a busy dad of three, so when he’s not dealing with vehicles, he’s usually enjoying family life.

After 20+ years in the trade, his approach is still simple: do the job right, be honest with people, take pride in your work, and treat people the way you’d want your own family treated.

We’re very happy to have Andrew as part of the Cracknell Auto team!

🚨 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠 🚨

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝘆𝗿i𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗼… 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘁. 😂

Tyrill is a hands-on, mechanically minded guy from Brandon, Manitoba. He’s also 6'7", which means he regularly hits his head on things and apparently needs to complete a full research project just to buy a mattress.

More importantly, Tyrill is a Journeyman Automotive Technician who spent close to 20 years at Forman Honda. During that time, he built extensive experience in diagnostics, maintenance, mechanical repairs and solving the kinds of problems that don’t always come with clear instructions.

His knowledge, craftsmanship, attention to detail and determination to figure things out make him an incredibly valuable addition to the Cracknell Auto team.

Tyrill has always been a car guy. His interest goes beyond mechanical repairs and includes bodywork and collision repair. If something breaks, his first instinct isn’t to call somebody—it’s to stare at it for a while, ask, “What in the world?” grab some tools and figure it out.

His garage is basically where vehicles go when they’ve decided they no longer want to cooperate.

When Tyrill isn’t working on vehicles, you’ll usually find him outside. Summers are for boating, ripping around on the Sea-Doo, golfing, working in the yard, sitting by a fire and spending time with friends and family.

He has also become surprisingly emotionally invested in peppers

Tyrill grows peppers hot enough to qualify as chemical weapons, then gets genuinely excited when they turn red. If one leaf on one plant looks slightly different than it did yesterday, a full investigation is immediately launched.

He’s curious by nature, enjoys learning new skills and isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. Cars, plants, boats —you name it, Tyrill has probably researched it.

That curiosity is also how he ended up with an AI assistant named Bernard, who now receives messages like:

“Yo Bernard, what on earth is this?”

Tyrill brings nearly two decades of professional automotive experience, a strong work ethic, a great sense of humor and a genuine passion for fixing things properly.

RECORD MONTH!

We couldn't have done it without the incredible support of our customers and community!
