‼️UPDATE: Monday, July 20th - Burn Ban across Dufferin County, including Orangeville is now lifted - please burn responsibly! ‼️

⚠️ Complete Burn Ban in Effect ⚠️

A complete burn ban is now in effect across Dufferin County, including Orangeville, effective immediately.

This decision wasn't made lightly. With extremely dry conditions and poor air quality caused by wildfire smoke, the risk of a fire spreading quickly is much higher than normal. A burn ban also helps prevent adding more smoke to the air while these conditions persist.

What this means:
🚫 No open-air burning or fires of any kind are permitted until further notice.

Please also keep an eye on local air quality and consider limiting outdoor activities if you're feeling the effects of the smoke, especially if you have underlying health concerns.

Thank you for doing your part to help keep our community safe.
