“Oh my God… it’s a shock!” 😳

But this 2018 Jeep Wrangler shock has a problem — it’s doing almost nothing.

Steve demonstrates just how easily the old shock moves with virtually no resistance, meaning it’s no longer controlling the spring’s oscillation like it should. That can mean more bouncing, reduced tire contact, poorer handling and a less controlled ride.

Then Steve shows the new shock installed on the Jeep — doing the job it was designed to do.

This Mercedes SLK just escaped the shop with its top down and absolutely no intention of going straight home. When the sun is shining, the roof disappears, the playlist gets louder, and every traffic light somehow feels a little shorter.

We've done our part. The rest of the day is between the driver and the open road.
