Huge congratulations to James and Thomas of Throttle House on being named the new hosts of The Grand Tour.

Over the years, they’ve become great partners to us, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what’s ahead. Their passion and commitment to the craft have led to this incredible opportunity, and we’re grateful to have played a small — but often legendary — part of their journey.

From featuring our 918 Spyder in one of their most iconic episodes, to setting their fastest lap to date in our Corvette Z06, to drag racing our Hummer EV, our collaborations have created some unforgettable moments.

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Douglas (Doug) Leggat, a driving force behind Leggat Auto Group and a beloved pillar of the Burlington community.

Doug began working in the family business in 1968 at our General Motors dealership in Burlington. From the very beginning, he believed that a business succeeds when its people are supported and its community is strengthened. Doug led with integrity, fairness, and genuine care, always making sure our team members felt valued and that the business gave back in meaningful ways.

Over decades of leadership, Doug helped grow Leggat Auto Group into the family-owned organization it is today, guided by the principle that business should serve people. His commitment to community, philanthropy, and mentorship left a lasting impact far beyond our dealerships, touching countless lives across southern Ontario.

Above all, Doug believed in putting family first always. This guiding principle remains at the heart of our culture and has guided us for over 100 years.

Doug’s legacy of leadership, generosity, and compassion will endure for generations. We extend our deepest condolences to the entire Leggat family during this difficult time. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
