🇨🇦✨ That’s a wrap for Monday here at Scott’s! 💪😊

🛻 The ceramic-coated GMC Sierra Z71 has headed home to Oshawa following its annual inspection and maintenance. Its third visit to Scott’s—thank you for continuing to make the trip! 🙏💧

🔦 The new Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport has been decontaminated, carefully masked and positioned on the hoist for paint correction. We also removed those stubborn TRD Sport decals at the client’s request. Ready for the next stage! 👌✨

💛 And a yellow Chevrolet Camaro has arrived for a complete detail—the third vehicle this client has brought us in just five weeks! That continued trust means a lot. 🙌

One heading home, another ready for correction, and a little yellow sunshine arriving in the studio. A full day at Scott’s! 😎

Have a great evening, everyone! 🇨🇦

🇨🇦☀️ Happy Monday! Another week in the life here at Scott’s! 💪✨

The next paint correction and ceramic coating project is in the house—a new Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport! 🛻🛡️ Stay tuned as we get this one underway.

Also back for its THIRD visit to Scott’s, all the way from Oshawa, Ontario, is this GMC Sierra Z71! 🙏😊 It’s here for its annual inspection and ceramic coating maintenance.

💧 LOOK AT THAT BEADING! 💧

These photos are after decontamination—before we’ve applied any ceramic topper! Almost looks like we just coated it again, doesn’t it? 🤔😂👌

Removing built-up contamination lets that water-repellent behaviour shine through again. We’ll also apply a ceramic maintenance topper for the winter before this truck heads home tomorrow. ❄️🛡️

Thank you for continuing to make the trip from Oshawa and trusting Scott’s with your truck! 🙌

🇨🇦🦃 Happy Thanksgiving Weekend, Canada! 🦃🇨🇦

We’re thankful for the steady work coming through our doors—and for every client who trusts us with their vehicle. 🙏😊 More bookings and quote requests yesterday and today have given us plenty to be grateful for!

This weekend, we’ll be in the studio working on paint correction and ceramic coating for this new black Dodge Durango GT. Another repeat customer as well✨🖤

Yes, it’s brand new… but it’s also BLACK! 😂 We often hear, “It’s new—it doesn’t need paint correction!” New paint can still have defects, and proper inspection tells us what needs attention before coating. 🔦👌

This Durango has been decontaminated, strip washed, clayed and carefully masked. Now the paint correction can begin! 💪✨

We’ll also be welcoming next week’s paint-correction and coating project over the weekend. But don’t worry—we’ll make time for turkey dinner with family, too! 🦃🍽️❤️

Safe travels to everyone on the road. Enjoy the company, count your blessings, and top it all off with a good meal! 🇨🇦🙏

🇬🇧🔥 A LITTLE BRITISH CLASSIC GETS A MAKEOVER AT SCOTT’S! 🔥🇬🇧

What a beauty! This 1981 Triumph Spitfire 1500, showing just 22,000 original kilometres, has finished its fall makeover here at Scott’s Custom Auto Spa! 😎

And here’s something special — this is the third vehicle these local clients have entrusted to us over the past 8 years! ❤️ We certainly appreciate their continued trust and support!

This little British roadster is a real time capsule. The original interior is in absolutely mint condition, but the aging single-stage paint needed some professional attention.

The biggest challenge? The hood had been repainted at some point, leaving behind deep scratches and sanding marks from previous paintwork.

Time for a little old-school paint correction! 🔨

✅ Complete decontamination, clay and strip wash
✅ Careful hand wet sanding with 3000 & 5000 grit
✅ 3-stage paint correction — rotary first! 🔨
✅ Refinement to restore depth, clarity and gloss
✅ Finished with GlossTech Sealant for added protection and shine 💎

Now, here’s where experience and knowing your limitations really matter!

With some of the deeper scratches buried in the previous repaint, achieving perfection simply wasn’t attainable without taking unnecessary risks.

Without knowing exactly how much of the total paint thickness was the newer paint, chasing every last scratch could have resulted in more harm than good.

The difference we achieved was significant, but preserving the existing paint was absolutely critical! 💯

After all, this is a 45-year-old British classic, not a brand-new vehicle rolling off the assembly line.

Sometimes knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing how to start!

The result? A beautiful improvement in gloss, colour and clarity while respecting the age, history and integrity of this classic’s finish. 🇬🇧❤️

And with that original interior, classic woodgrain dashboard, manual transmission and only 22,000 kilometres, this little Spitfire is something special!

Three vehicles, eight years, and another happy return visit! Thank you for continuing to trust Scott’s with your vehicles. 🙏

😊 Happy Wednesday! I guess it’s time for a little update from Scott’s! 🔨🚗

It’s been another busy week here at Scott’s Custom Auto Spa & Ceramic Coatings!

🇬🇧 1981 Triumph Spitfire 1500 — We’re getting closer to the finish line with this little British classic! After some careful wet sanding, rotary cutting and paint correction on its older single-stage finish, we’re expecting to have it completed tomorrow evening. ❤️

🔥 Next up on the hoist! A Dodge Durango GT has already arrived and is waiting patiently for its turn!

❤️ Toyota Crown HEV AWD Limited — We also completed an annual ceramic coating maintenance service on this beautiful Toyota.

Here’s something worth mentioning! This Crown was originally ceramic coated by another installer in Dufferin County, Ontario, and is now being maintained right here at Scott’s in Brighton.

A great reminder that you don’t necessarily need to return to your original installer for professional ceramic coating maintenance, especially when you’ve moved or purchased a vehicle from another area.

🍁 And yes, we’ll be working over the Thanksgiving long weekend! Another vehicle is scheduled to arrive for paint correction and ceramic coating after the Durango.

Between classic car paint correction, annual ceramic maintenance and new coating installations, there’s always something interesting happening around here!

A big thank-you to our returning clients and everyone who continues to trust Scott’s with their vehicles. We appreciate it! 🙏😊
