On The Move Logistics and Towing is a trusted provider of logistics and towing services across North America and we are expanding our team and looking for a Diesel Mechanic/Technician to help maintain our growing fleet and ensure top-notch service for customers.

Job Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and towing equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
• Work closely with dispatch and operations to prioritize repairs.
• Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts, components, or systems on truck and trailers

Schedule:
• Monday to Friday with some weekend work as needed.

Mechanic Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, emissions systems, and electrical systems
• Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 is an asset but not needed)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in the trade
• Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing
