This old ‘52 Cambridge sat in my yard for almost 2 years while we searched and searched for a donor heart for her. In the Meantime David had moved to Prince Rupert BC. Over time we decided that we would just transplant a different heart into the car. Well what other then a faithful old in-line 6 GM 250. I brought the car into the shop last Monday, Swapped the engine, built engine mounts, cross member, drive shaft, and a fuel tank. got the brakes working, wired headlights and turn signals. Converted the old 3 in the tree to an automatic transmission. Well, 57 hours of labour later, David drove away today to begin his 2600kms Adventure Back to Prince Rupert tomorrow morning. I wish him and the car the best of luck on the trip. It’s a Gm powertrain so it should have no problem!

Well, after breaking the rails in his 2022 snowmobile last year the owner of this sled is one happy man. After being quoted $6000 to repair his machine we fixed it up for around $1000. Built brackets to repair and reinforce the broken area and had our good friends over at Morningstar Metal weld them up for us. It literally should be better then new.

Well…that sucks… I guess not all parts are created equal.
