Saratoga Speedway is a family entertainment facility, our aim is to provide good clean safe fun at a reasonable price to our audience and our participants. We ensure the racing is kept fair and clean with a state of the art computerized scoring system that uses transponders mounted on every race vehicle, and a team of dedicated race of

ficials who love the sport. Our track is a paved 3/8th mile D shaped oval, with a banked first and second corner, 1/16th mile drag strip, and a 5/8th mile extended course for motorcycles and slalom events. As a family entertainment facility we do not permit any consumption of alcohol, and we a entirely no smoking zone. Our concessions serve a full selection of food, hot drinks (we even have a cappuccino bar), ice cream, and Pepsi products. In addition to our Race Cars we also have our own Ridable Monster Truck, and we also do Private Rentals.

Since 1972 racers from across the province and the west coast have competed for the coveted Canada 200, western Canada's longest running and most prestigious Stock Car race.

Heading into the fourth running of the event at Saratoga Speedway, Courtenay's Kyle Wade Racing comes into the weekend as the defending Canada 200 winner.

The 2025 race was Wade's first Late Model win, with the third generation racer also scoring the win during the Saturday portion of this season's Gary Marcus Trucking LTD. Battle at Black Creek.

Defending LD Industries BC Late Models champion Charlie Ackerman will also return to action this weekend after missing the Battle at Black Creek. Ackerman swept both Brian McLean Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd. Twin 50's to start the season.

Langley's Korbin Thomas heads back to the island looking for redemption after getting caught up in an early race incident last year. The five time Canada 200 winner has the most victories among active drivers.

The 2026 Shockwave Marine Suspension Seating Canada 200 weekend kicks off with Late Model qualifying Friday night, with the Canada 200 broadcast starting at 6:30 pm Saturday night live on CHEK and REV TV Canada.

Admission is free for all spectators to check out practice and to drop by and say hi to Ed and Jeff ahead of this weekend's Canada 200.
