ATTENTION LADIES!

Wanting to hit the road on your own and knowing where to start aren't always the same thing. That gap is what Girl Camper is for.

Jane Schnurr, Ontario's Girl Camper Hostess, is joining us this weekend on Canada's Largest Motorhome Sale, October 31st and Nov 1st!

Girl Camper is a community of women who help each other get comfortable with camping solo, towing and handling an RV. Members learn hands-on skills like troubleshooting RV systems at Camper College events and through local chapters. Then there are the kayaking trips, hikes, quilting campouts and fundraisers, and the friendships that tend to come with all of it.

A motorhome galley is smaller than your kitchen at home. Chef Chris Plummer doesn't see that as a problem.

Chris is an award-winning chef with more than 20 years as a chef, butcher and fishmonger, and he's bringing all of it to Canada's Largest Motorhome Sale. Using only the standard equipment that comes in a motorhome, he'll show you how to make simple, healthy meals that taste a lot fancier than they have any right to.

Then you get to try them!

He's cooking every weekend of the show, October 24th and 25th and October 31st and November 1st. Come hungry, and leave with a few ideas for your next trip.

Most first time buyer's ask, "Can I actually drive this thing?"

Fair Question! It's best answered from the driver's seat.

On October 24 and October 31st, during Canada's Largest Motorhome Sales Event, we're handing over the keys to anyone that wants to driving one.

Get behind the wheel of a Class A or C motorhome with your co-pilot Dave Stoate for a ride.

He'll walk you through the functionality, driving tips and answer any questions on your mind before you hit the road. Expect a little “Whoa, this thing is HUGE!” followed by a whole lot of “I’ve got this!” Once you’re rolling, the open road starts calling.

This is designed with the first-time buyers in mind. Allowing you to find your comfort behind the wheel. No matter what the size - Big rig, big views, big adventures await.

It’s nearly that time of year again. HOCKEY SEASON - the rivalry is ON!

Tom Stoate, our President, and Eric Scott, Diesel Technician, are at it again.

Tom, a Habs fan and Eric, a Leafs Fan, are ready to duke it out for the 2026/2027 season.

Is it “Olé, Olé, Olé” or “Go Leafs Go!”?

Nearly 60 years. Three generations. One family legacy.

Dave McKee started The Hitch House almost 60 years ago, after serving as an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces.

In 2001, Dave's daughter Hiedi and her husband Tom Stoate came on as his partners. Dave's son Chris worked here all through high school and Georgian College, and today Chris is our General Sales Manager. And Dave's other daughter Ashley is the one greeting customers and making them feel right at home.

This year, the third generation clocked in.

Dave's grandson, David Stoate, has joined our Service Department as Service and Body Shop Coordinator.

If he looks familiar to some of our regular customers, that's because he spent his high school years and university summers here. But this time he has decided to work at The Hitch House permanently.

The RV world has changed a lot since Dave McKee first opened the doors. But his legacy is very much intact. Three generations in, we're still a family looking after everyone who comes through here like one.

Here's to the next 60 years. Welcome home, David!

New arrival alert!!!

Chris got the first look, and honestly, we're a little jealous of whoever ends up driving this one home.

It's available to buy starting tomorrow. Come by and see it up close!
