The longest car in the world is a custom super limousine named "The American Dream."
According to the Guinness World Records, the vehicle stretches to an incredible length of 30.51 meters.
Key Facts About "The American Dream"
The Build: It was originally built in 1986 by car customizer Jay Ohrberg and was based on 1976 Cadillac Eldorado limousines.
Wild Features: The car is packed with extreme luxury amenities, including a swimming pool with a diving board, a jacuzzi, a mini-golf putting green, a waterbed, and even a fully functional helipad structurally capable of holding a small helicopter.
Capacity & Wheels: It rolls on 26 wheels, is powered by two V8 engines (one at the front and one at the rear), and can hold more than 75 passengers.
How it Drives: Because of its immense size, the vehicle is built with a hinge mechanism in the middle to help it flex around tighter corners. It can also be driven from both ends.
After sitting abandoned and falling into disrepair for many years, it was completely restored and slightly extended by developer Michael Dezer. It is currently on display at the Dezerland Park Auto Museum in Orlando, Florida.
