Craig & Kristen Anderson - a husband and wife team who took the leap and opened the business in November 2010. Craig has been a licensed Automotive Service Technician since 2007. He graduated Algonquin College in Ottawa and completed his apprenticeship with local garages here in Arnprior. At the time, he was one of the youngest licensed technicians in Eastern Ontario! His interest in the automotive field started at a young age - he pursued this interest in high school through auto-tech classes, co-op placements and the purchase of his first muscle car at the age of 16. Steven Blimkie, a long time mechanic, joined our team in October 2019 after many years out of the trade (but keeping up his license). Steven has been a close friend of Kristen's family for over 35 years! Cole Carpenter joined our team after beginning his journey with us as a co-op student. He began logging apprenticeship hours in March 2021, and is currently registered in the Automotive Service Technician course at Algonquin College, as a Level 2 apprentice. We are so fortunate to have these gentleman apart of the team, and proud to call them members of the Andy Auto family! At Anderson Automotive, we are not your average small-time garage - we are equipped to handle most jobs that other garages cannot. This includes:
-Tire sales, installation and balancing including tire pressure sensor diagnostics, programming and relearning (we carry a full line of tire brands in different price ranges to suit every vehicle)
-Engine, airbag and ABS diagnostics including wheel speed sensor testing, EVAP leak testing and modern engine computer system diagnostics
-Exhaust system repair and replacement including MIG welding and exhaust pipe expansion
-Steering system and suspension repair including strut replacement (we are equipped to handle even the most difficult struts such as on newer style pick-up trucks)

-MTO Certified Safety Inspections including annual safety inspections

-General repairs and maintenance such as cooling systems, timing belt replacements, tune-ups, and much, much more! We have invested in top of the line equipment, tools and software to ensure your vehicle is taken care of properly and efficiently, in a timely manner and at a reasonable, competitive price! A few years ago, Anderson Automotive became a NAPA Auto Care Centre. In a nutshell, this program allows us to extend additional parts warranty to our customers when a NAPA part is installed AND a 12 month labour warranty as well, for no additional cost to you (plus many additional perks)!
