For over 50 years Riverside International Speedway has been recognized as a premiere stock racing facility in Canada. The 1/3-mile high-banked asphalt oval roars to action several times a year for special events. It is the home of the IWK 250 – widely known throughout North America as a "bucket list" event for racers and fans alike. Located in James River, between New Glasgow and Antigonish, the facility is easily accessible at exit 30 on Trans Canada Highway 104.

While at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend Riverside's Donald, Kellie, Emily and Ryan Chisholm caught up with 2008 champion Regan Smith, his wife Megan, and their kids Rhett, Eliza, and Rhye. Smith, also familiar to many as part of the NASCAR on Fox broadcast team, has been the IWK 250 celebrity driver four times - and one of only two NASCAR celebrities to win the IWK 250 Presented by Steve Lewis. Smith, semi-retired from full-time driving, competed in Friday's NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race.

Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to our Christmas Daddies fundraising last Saturday! As usual, you were amazingly generous. While the grand total will be revealed during the Christmas Daddies telethon on CTV December 5, we can let you know it's over $5,000!!! Your donations will help bring joy to less fortunate children at Christmas. We were honoured to have CTV's Suzette Belliveau and Christmas Daddies Executive Producer Roxanne Robinson spend their Saturday with us - and that Santa Claus made the trip to James River, too!
