Yesterday we replaced the Thermistor on a Dometic fridge due to poor cooling performance, and I would say the new one is working excellent! The thermistor uses resistance to tell the fridge how cold it is.

A simple resistance test of the thermistor, at a set baseline temperature, showed us that the old one was not registering temperature correctly anymore, as the resistance values were way out of normal operating range.

A very quick diagnosis and relatively cheap repair, when the customer believed a new fridge or cooling unit may be required.

It pays to hire experienced professionals 👍🏻

2025 was a very big year for Precision Mobile RV Repair!

It is overwhingly evident to me that none of it could have happened without the huge amount of support and help from family and friends, as well as a massive group of great customers. We can never say thank you enough for all the support we received through our major transition year!!

We are proudly staying warm in our new workshop performing large repairs and look forward to another great year of keeping everyone’s much deserved vacations on track!
