​Meanwhile, your transmission hasn’t had a dipstick in years, we trust digital fuel gauges every single day, and 90% of truck owners haven’t pulled an oil ring in five years anyway.

​If GM can put tire pressure and oil life in the MyGMC and MyChevrolet apps, why not give us a digital oil level right on our phone while our heated seats warm up?

​Are you actually checking your oil every month, or do you do what I do: drop the keys at service and say "call me when it's ready"?
