This is never the post we want to writeโ€ฆ but after continuing to monitor the forecast and considering the experience for our drivers, crews, volunteers, and fans, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this weekendโ€™s race event.

We know many of you were hoping we could find a way to make it happen (trust usโ€ฆ we were too ๐Ÿ), but this forecast is shaping up to be one of those weekends where staying warm, dry, and actually enjoying a day at the track just doesnโ€™t seem likely.

Our goal is always to strike the balance between giving ourselves every reasonable opportunity to race and making a timely decision that respects everyoneโ€™s travel, prep, and planning. Unfortunately, this weekend the weather just isnโ€™t giving us much to work with.

๐Ÿ The ๐€๐‹๐ƒ๐„๐‘ ๐’๐“๐„๐„๐‹ ๐‹๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐Œ๐จ๐๐ž๐ฅ event will also be rescheduled, with a new date to be announced soon.

With the current weather forecast, we know many teams and fans are watching conditions closelyโ€”just as we are. Our goal is always to strike the right balance between giving ourselves every reasonable opportunity to get a race day in while also avoiding making a cancellation decision too early.
