The electric vehicle changes the engineering question. It doesn't remove it.

A battery-electric vehicle has no internal combustion engine, so it doesn't need conventional engine oil. It does, however, create different demands around transmissions, thermal management and mechanical components.

Check the oil level on level ground, with the engine cool and enough time for oil to return to the sump. Add only the correct product and grade, in small amounts, and do not overfill.
