Happy Mother's Day!

For all the working moms out there, we just wanted to take a moment to congratulate and honor you on Mother's Day. Juggling work, home, and family is really hard, and you deserve major kudos for ALL you do. Your dedication to both work and family pays off. As a working mom, you have two full time jobs, and you get to reap the greatest benefits of both... You have a rewarding career and the ultimate gratification from raising your family. You may feel frazzled, overwhelmed, pulled in a million directions with not enough of you to go around 99% of the time, but hey, as long as you look like you've got things together, you've got nothing to worry about. TANK INSTALLATIONS:

Nassau Gas & Tanks has been installing tanks for its customers for over 10 years. We have a deserved reputation for quality installations performed by courteous and trained professionals. We will install your tank in a timely and safe manner. We will do it right and on time. Our staff will help you choose a proper location and tank size and answer any questions you may have.

Nassau Gas & Tanks propane stocks new and used residential and commercial propane tanks on hand for sale. These tanks are most commonly 120, 250, 500 and 1000 gallons in size. If you are interested in purchasing a new, please contact us by phone or email for a quote.

TANK LOCATION

Proper tank location can be impacted by a number of factors. Considerations include code requirements, property lines, location of buildings and structures, distance from driveway for refilling, contour of the property, water drainage and ease of set or pick up. Our experienced staff can assist in determining the right location for you.

TANK SIZE

Proper tank size is also determined by a number of factors. Considerations include size and insulation of house, type and number of propane appliances, wind exposure, family size and make-up and ease of delivery. While keeping the number of deliveries to your home each year to a minimum is important in keeping costs down, it is a prudent safety practice for our drivers to see your system at least twice during that same year.

UNDERGROUND TANKS

We can perform the excavation work as well as complete all the exterior hook-ups and pressure testing. Underground tanks offer several advantages. Their primary advantage is their aesthetic value, being hidden from view and often incorporated into a homes’ landscaping. Underground tanks add value to a home and can cost less to maintain. By owning your own underground tank you can realize significant cost savings on your propane over the years. Propane is non-toxic and will not contaminate soil or groundwater. Recently, many new housing developments nationwide now require their builders to go with underground propane storage tanks.
