1941 Royal Enfield KX | UK 🇬🇧

The real "Golden era" for Royal Enfield can rightly be called the 1930s. By 1938 the range of the company consisted of 18 models! Among them the heavy V-twins stood out.

The main representative of the heavy motorcycles was KX model, which was born in 1936 and initially sold on export markets. The motorcycle did not appear on the British market until 1937.

"The last word in luxury motorcycles" - so sounded the advertising slogan of the Royal Enfield KX in a 1938 sales brochure. The company's flagship has a powerful V-twin 1140 ccm sidevalve engine with a dry-sump lubrication system. A four-speed gearbox allows to use the motorcycle solo or with a sidecar. Black and gold paint job is standart Royal Enfield paint scheme. In addition, the KX has interchangeable wheels.

At the end we must say that Royal Enfield KX was a motorcycle with one of the largest engine volumes of its time (and certainly the largest in the pre-war market in England)!
