We eindigen deze Spa Rally op een 6de plaats in de Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup Belux.

Niet het resultaat waar we op gehoopt hadden, maar toch kijken we met een positief gevoel terug op afgelopen weekend. Door technische problemen na de jump op Fays Show, waarbij de massakabel loskwam, waren we uitgeteld voor de eindwinst. Toch lieten we onze snelheid zien door 𝟴 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 te rijden in onze klasse, wat ons de titel van 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 opleverde.

Hoewel de eindoverwinning er niet meer in zat voor ons, kunnen we wel stellen dat we de 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗮𝗿 waren van dit weekend.

Qua resultaat was het geen goed weekend voor Jonas Dewilde en Jens De Splenter. Na een mechanisch probleem bij de landing op de jump van Fays Show, moest de Orfys piloot al snel aan de kant. “Na de jump op Fays was alle vermogen weg en konden we de volgende proef niet meer afwerken,” aldus Jonas...

Jonas Dewilde Secures Victory in Junior Belgian Rally Championship Opener, Despite Strong Challenge from Maxim Decock

In the Rally van Haspengouw, the opening round of the Junior Belgian Rally Championship, Jonas Dewilde emerged victorious in a tight battle against Maxim Decock.

After 8 stages, Dewilde held a slim 3″5 lead over Decock, despite Decock's dominance in 6 stages. Unfortunately, Decock was forced to retire due to an oil leak on the penultimate stage.

Reflecting on his win, Dewilde stated, “It’s a fantastic start to the season. We fought hard, and this victory is a great boost for us."

WELCOME TO HASPENGOUW!

Jonas Dewilde and Jeffrey Vandenbussche are ready to start their season at Rally van Haspengouw this weekend, armed with their new Opel machinery after switching from Renault for the 2024 season.

Their recent test drive in the freshly branded ORFYS car has bolstered their confidence for the upcoming Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup Belux. They're ready to hit the ground running!
